About Me
My own nutrition-focused health journey started over a decade ago, on a hunt for answers to my persistent anxiety and digestive issues. But it wasn’t until my first pregnancy that I felt, more than ever, the effects of what I was eating on how I was feeling.
On my way to becoming a mom in Berlin, far from my family and my own culture, I was hungry for guidance and support that aligned with who I was. This was uncharted territory—who could I turn to with all my questions? My local GP and the online forums were there for me, but neither was really the vibe I was after.
After a transformative birth and postpartum, the calling to learn more grew louder. I became certified in holistic nutrition for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and babies, as well as in perinatal mental health. I became a traditional closing of the bones facilitator and studied to become a doula. I welcomed my second baby—a completely different experience thanks, in part, to all of this new knowledge. I was still far from home, but things were feeling a
lot less confusing.
After a record-scratch pivot from a career managing global print magazines, I have spent the last several years digging deep into research and literature—unlearning and relearning so much about motherhood. I have cooked for new and expecting mothers, connected with them in the health industry and met them as seekers of support. I am convinced now more than ever of our collective need for care and connection, and of the power of nourishment as a means to facilitate these things along with improved health. My approach to wellness and nutrition is firmly rooted in the belief that they can coexist with everything else that brings joy and makes life worth living.
As a motherhood nutrition specialist, I aim to provide the kind of support I wish I’d had and the one you deserve.
I want that for all of us.
